Second Hand King's "Before the Bomb Drops" is an album unlike any other. It follows the concept a world about to be obliterated by a forthcoming bomb that seemingly no one can seem to stop, & at the same time it follows Second Hand King in his trials and triumphs.

Before the Bomb Drops, is an album about making peace with death. It's an album about making peace with chaos. It's an album that wants to find the light at the end of the tunnel. Starting off the chaotic and at times humorous "Before the Bomb Drops", it's brash which sets the bar for the rest of the album. Following with love songs, and then his affinity to someday be in a Doo Wop Group, it get's weird.

The album later finds it's heart in "About a Family Member Almost Dying". A song about a family member that lost his way & then find it's crossroads in "The Ground & The Middle".

This is an album about relationships, moving on, and accepting the inevitable. Death. It comes to every one of us. With one underlying message throughout the album: What would you do if it was your last day on earth?
